According to the local legend, if an elder sabouko tree, commonly known as elderberry, is planted in the yard of a residence, it protects its occupants from evil spirits and even lightning strikes.
Sabouko is a traditional guest house located in the oldest neighbourhood of Vizitsa village in mountain Pelion, Greece.
